Synology RX1225RP is a 12-bay 2U rackmount NAS expansion unit designed for Synology enterprise rackmount NAS. Connected via a Mini-SAS HD expansion port, it adds 12 hot-swappable drive bays to a host NAS, expanding storage capacity for Hong Kong offices, SMEs and data centres without replacing the host unit.

RX1225RP supports 12 x 3.5-inch SATA HDD or 2.5-inch SATA SSD hot-swappable bays, 2 x 1GbE RJ-45 network ports and 1 x Mini-SAS HD expansion port, with a 500W power supply in a 2U rackmount form factor (88 x 482 x 552 mm), managed centrally by the host NAS running Synology DSM.
